#WednesdayWord: PATIENCE

The Word of the Day is PATIENCE.

Have more peaceful days by exercising your patience.

PATIENCE is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.

Here are a few scriptures that help me when I’m lacking patience:

Galatians 6:9 NIV — “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Hebrews 10:36 NIV — “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬ — “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
